‘Sopranos’ the series ran on HBO from 1999- 2007 and all the time it was on air it was very popular. The series ended after completing six successful seasons. And, if you ask me the major credit for the success of the series goes to David Chase, the creator and producer of the series. And, I guess the man has left a huge impact on the HBO people. The channel has recently announced that they are getting David Chase, the creator of its biggest hit, “The Sopranos” back to television.

This time Mr. Chase is working on a series named “Ribbon of Dreams”, which is all about the history of Hollywood. Yes, the channel has chosen David Chase to produce a striving mini-series that would embellish the history of Hollywood moviemaking, right from its early days of the 20th century to the present day. I am sure this kind of series will do wonders with the audience as it is the first of its own kind.

It is expected that this mini series will cover each and every period of Hollywood movies. They will begin with silent westerns and comedies, and then go through the golden era of the studio system, further moving on to the emergence of auteur film directors in the 1970s, and up to the current mix of studio blockbusters and independent films.

It has been reported that the mini series will begin with its focus on two fictional characters, where one will play a cowboy and the other will play a mechanical engineer - who works for the famous early film director D. W. Griffith. The series will follow their professional success that they will go through with the development of the movie business.

Anyways, here’s wishing all the best to David Chase, who is well known for his work. Both Chase and HBO are happy to have each other back and they hope to create magic all over again. Though there is no news about when we will get to see the series, but I hope that it will happen soon.
