Sopranos Season 2

The second season of the series was premiered on January 16, 2000. The second season of the series had thirteen episodes in it. The second season opens after several months have passed by and it is Tony, who is the head controller of the DiMeo crime family and it is he who takes all the decisions for the family. But one day suddenly he is reported missing and along with that Pussy marks a comeback. On the other hand, Junior is in prison and Livia is still in the hospital, but her condition is much better than before and is recovering. On the other end, Tony asks Dr. Melfi to go on the lam and she obeys him. Tony’s sister, Janice has come over to Tony’s place and is going to stay there. In the next episode, Tony tries his level best to settle a construction protest that involves former assets of Uncle Junior. Pussy has a revealing meeting with the FBI. Junior’s lawyers are finally able to get him out of the prison, though on house arrest. On the other hand, Janice is getting really comfortable at Tony’s house which is bothering Livia, and Janice and Tony discuss with each other the possibility of a DNR order for Livia.

In the next episode, Richie Aprile comes out of prison after completing his ten year tenure in prison. Richie is the brother of late Jackie Aprile. He calls Tony and starts working with him. But soon things start heating up between them because he is still working the way they used to ten years ago, but times have changed now. Meadow trashes her grandmother house during a party and as a result Carmela decides to punish her, but her punishment sets off another argument between Carmela and Janice. In the next episode, Tony, Paulie and Christopher travel down to Italy for business. Now that her husband is away Carmela ponders on her life with Tony. While in Italy, Tony is successful in striking a deal with his female counterpart. On the other hand, Angie Bonpensiero speaks her heart out to Carmela and tells her that she wants a divorce from Pussy. In the next episode, a new member is added to the Tony’s team as a part of the deal that he had struck in Italy. Pussy is not at all comfortable with the arrival of this new member, and shows his hostility openly. On the other hand, Christopher in order to reduce his stress enrolls in an “Acting for Screen Writers” class. Pussy starts getting more open with the FBI and Dr. Melfi decides to resume therapy sessions with Tony.
