Whenever I used to mess around with my father, he would make me go quiet by saying he would send me to Antarctica where there is nothing to eat and no television to watch.

Couch potato I was, I would stop my excursions around the house that very instant.

Recently, the thought came rushing back when someone told me that James Gandolfini is heading to Antarctica.

At first, I took it as a joke and looked for the subtle, wry smile on my source’s face but there was none to be seen.

Considering the fact that he is 49, my father’s logic didn’t fit in and nor did any other.

I mean Antarctica is not a place with sandy beaches where people go to chill out!

James may be heading to Antarctica but in the series, Big Dead Place, which he is producing as well as acting in.

The project will be based on the lives that inhabit a research place in the frozen Antarctica.

Now, don’t ask me whether James would be going all the way to Antarctica to film the series or if he would bring alive another Antarctica somewhere else.

The possibility of shooting in Antarctica is quite less but nobody knows what goes on in the heads of creative people like James.

He might decide to visit the place to make it close to reality, for all you know!

The series is based on the work of Nicholas Johnson’s book, which focuses behavior alterations witnessed by people who reside in the most uninhabitable worlds.
